Service History

Formed in August 1940 mainly from Polish airmen who had been serving in the French Air Force. Operated as a bombing squadron in No. 1 Group from April 1941 through August 1943. The squadron was transferred to the 2^nd Tactical Air Force and operated until the end of the war
